This is probably the most common question I hear when people ask me about my lifestyle.  No one wants to give up those red, juicy strawberries, or crisp, green apples.

It is true that fruit does contain high levels of sugar, natural sugar, but sugar non the less.

Fruit is an important part of our diet, but is meant to be enjoyed in moderation. 1-2 small pieces a day, since the fructose levels have the same impact on our bodies as refined sugar.

It is nature’s candy

&& remember what mom always told you ” Candy is a treat”

So enjoy your fruit,

Savor the sweetness,

just do so in moderation.

Here is a great article that sums up exactly what I preach
