Ingredients:

  • 2 cups ofKale
  • 1 Can of washed and rinsed chickpeas ( I steam these first) or 1 Cup of raw chickpeas
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons of Tahini
  • 2 tablespoons of fresh squeezed lemon
  • 1 Teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon chilli powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Pink hymnalian salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black Pepper
  • option:Red onion
  • option: Cilantro

Process:

  1. Steam chickpeas until soft
  2.  Add all ingredients in food processor or blender Note: if consistency is not binding add 1 teaspoon of coconut flour
  3. Place in bowl
  4. Roll into ball shape and flatten into small patties; option to use ice cream or tea scoop
  5. Place on pan covered with parchment paper
  6. Bake for 40 min at 375

This usually makes 6-10 depending on size. I often freeze and use later by placing back into the oven.
