Just like that Christmas is over,

The hustle and bustle has slowed,

The Parties have ended and

the drinks have stopped pouring.

We finally have a second to sit down and breath.

It is an amazing time of the year, but it is busy. We are out of routine, and often find ourselves indulging in one too many of those “holiday treats”

Now that the peace is back, and New Years resolutions have been made. 

It is time to make our health a priority again, both the mind&body.

NOO not dieting. WHY??

Because 98% of people make their New Years Resolution to Diet, and “fall off ” within 3 weeks.

Diets are not maintainable, they are based on a lifestyle created by one individual, for that individual. It is not possible for a one size fits all approach to health. We are depriving ourselves when trying to fit into another’s lifestyle or plan

Which is why this new year 2018, we are focusing on  DESIGNING a lifestyle. NOT following a diet or meal plan.

When we focusing on a lifestyle by design, we learn from others to make a routine that is specific to us. One that feels good, and that is modified to our life; one that is individual and unique. We are not making resolutions this year, we are designing a lifestyle.

How do we do that?

  1. We debunk all the trends, marketing, and “why I cant… the excuses”
  2.  We declutter our lives, our minds, our houses and our kitchens. We let go of that old health story that no longer serves us
  3.  We learn the facts, and become educated to DESIGN a lifestyle that is perfect for us

This 3 step process found in my book gives us balance and makes sure we are NEVER deprived.

Healthy LEMON COCONUT fat balls

( 2 recipe options )

Ingredients
Recipe 1
  1. 1 cup raw cashews
  2. 1 cup raw pecans
  3. 1/3 cup walnuts
  4. 1/3 cup almond butter
  5. 1/3 cup organic virgin coconut oil (room temperature)
  6. 2 tbsp coconut flour
  7. 2 tbsp lemon juice
Ingredients
Recipe 2
  1. 1 cup raw pecans
  2. 1 cup Tahini
  3. 1- 2 cups coconut butter unsweetened
  4. 1/3 cup unsweetened coconut or almond milk
  5. 2 tbsp coconut flour
  6. 2 tbsp lemon juice
  7.  Unsweetened Coconut Shreds
Instructions
  1. Combine all ingredients in a food processor and process until a fairly smooth consistency forms
  2. Roll dough into medium size balls. ROll in unsweetened coconut shreds
  3. Store in refrigerator.
  4. Enjoy!!
