It’s That Time of Year again
all the #basics are on the loose ( guilty)
Pulling out the uggs, plaid scarves and lining up for the lattes
Fall is my favourite time of the year.
I love the scent of the falling leaves,
The feeling of the cool crisp morning air
The apples popping up on trees
AND pumpkin everything. YES I AM ON BOARD
BUT I am NOT on board with the Sugar loaded pumpkin spice lattes from that one coffee shop who I won’t mention **cough** star ** cough**

SO how do we enjoy the beautiful pumpkin flavours without the sugar..
DON’T worry all my basic besties, STEVIA & SPICE saves the day
STEVIA&SPICE APPROVED PUMPKIN SPICE LATTE
Pumpkin Spice Latte
2 Tbsp. unsweetened pumpkin puree
½ tsp. pumpkin pie spice (or ¼ tsp. cinnamon and 1/8 tsp. each ground nutmeg and ground ginger)
Pinch of Pink Himalayan sea salt
1 tsp. pure vanilla bean or Vanilla bean paste unsweetened
1/2 cup unsweetened full fat coconut milk
1 cup hot, strongly brewed coffee
1 to 2 tsp. Stevia ( if desired)
1 Tbsp. ghee or coconut oil, optional
In a saucepan over medium-low heat, combine pumpkin, pumpkin pie spice and salt and cook, stirring, until warmed and fragrant, about 2 minutes. Whisk in vanilla and milk and cook, whisking, until warmed through, 1 to 2 minutes.
Transfer pumpkin mixture to a high-speed blender and add coffee, ghee or oil, if desired. Blend until well mixed and frothy. Drink immediately.
