We all have that one tip, trick or routine that helps us to stay on track. To Keep peace and get tasks done.

For some people it’s pulling your hair out and screaming at the computer screen,

for others it is chugging a coffee and turning off your phone

although these may work, I have a feeling they may not make you feel your best.

AND life is about how we feel, the energy we put into our tasks directly relates to the energy we get out.

So when I came across this tip I knew it was going to be life changing….

When I started implementing this trick into my life, my world changed. It not only helps to ground you and keep you in the moment, but it helps you to evaluate your priorities.

I used to be queen of the lists, and let’s be honest, some days I still am

But I am much better than I used to be.

When I feel like I am overreacting or over thinking I stop and count.

I also implement a few other “5 Rules”

  1. If it takes less than 5 minutes DO IT NOT
  2. Will it matter in 5 weeks, 5 months, 5 years? NO then don’t spend more than 5 minutes on it

These tools help to reduce procrastinating, improve productivity, and help you live a calmer, more balanced life.

We don’t need to push, push, push and stress.

We can actually do much more, when we do less.

When we take a second to stop and reflect.

To breath or count.

It clears our mind, and a clear mind allows magic to happen.
