Granola and Granola Bars are a GO-TO favourite

But many of those store brands rack up the grocery bill

and are a source of over 10 TEASPOONS of sugar!!

Not sounding like your go-to snack anymore, is it?

But the Stevia&Spice Tribe always has options, because we believe it having it ALL

Let’s Keep those kiddos happy with their favourite treat, and keep us all STEVIA&SPICE approved

Ingredients 

1 Cup Steel Cut Oats ( for grain-free sub for quinoa)

1 Cup Regular Organic Oats  ( for grain-free sub for flax or chia seed and 1/4 cup coconut flour)

3 Cups Water

1 Cup unsweetened full fat Coconut Milk

1 Teaspoon Sea Salt

1/4 Cup Unsweetened Coconut Shreds

1 Cup Nut butter of choice

1 Cup Seeds or Raw Nuts of choice

1 Cup Raw organic Cacao 

What to Do 

  1. Bring water to a boil on stove top, add steel cut oats, add a pinch of Himalayan Sea salt let cook for 10-12  minutes
  2. Add Coconut milk and organic oats
  3. Cook for another 5 minutes or until liquid is absorbed
  4.  Add additional ingredients, stir until mixed

OPTIONS :

  1. Place in 9×9 tray chill for 2-3 hours, cut into bars, slice into bars and serve for chewy bars
  2. Place in over at 350 for 8-10 minutes for crunchy bars** option to slice into bar or break into granola

Drizzle with melted 90%dark chocolate and sprinkle with Sea Salt before serving
