  • 1 14-ounce can chickpeas drained
  • 1/3 cup coconut yoguet
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • Salt, to taste


  1. Pulse all ingredients in a blender until well-incorporated and broken down, but not totally mushy. You still want some texture in there!


You can sub aquafaba (the liquid in the chickpea can) for the coconut yogurt
